Imagine What the Animals Would Say
Copyright © 2006 Pam Eppinette
The sky is so blue. The trees are so green.
What a picture. What a beautiful scene.
The mountains are majestic. The streams are cool and fast.
God your awesome beauty is so vast.
The eagle will soar high above the lake,
And swoop down for a fish to take.
Back to his family high up in the nest,
Where his eaglets are waiting to be blessed.
The doe and the fawns are under the tree.
The fawns are playing, so cute and so free.
The sunlight is glistening on the lake.
Oh the beauty, our breath it takes.
As I walk along I hear their song.
The birds are singing all day long.
I imagine what the animals would say,
If they could only talk to God today.
Thank you God for this beautiful day.
Thank you God that we can play.
Thank you for my home and my family.
Thank you God that we are free.
You provide everything that we will ever need.
You give us food and you have planted seed.
We do not have to worry about a thing.
God you have taken care of every thing.
You have given us a beautiful home.
You have given us freedom and a place to roam.
Worry for us doesn’t take a toll,
You have everything under control.
I am so glad I wasn’t born a human being.
They always worry, so it seems.
They are never happy, never satisfied.
Nothing suits them no matter how hard they try.
Don’t they have a God to take care of all their needs?
Don’t they have a God to give them a home and feed?
Doesn’t God watch over their family?
Don’t they have a God to keep them free?
As I walk along I have to pray.
Thank you God for my family today.
Help me not to worry. Help me not to fret.
Please help me to get out of debt.
You provide everything that we will ever need.
You give us food and you’ve planted seed.
We don’t have to worry about a thing.
God you have taken care of everything.
We know you have everything under control.
The enemy must return what he stole.
We know that you will meet every need,
We’re the children of the King, indeed!
Thank you God for this beautiful day.
Thank you God that we can play.
Thank you for my home and my family.
Thank you God that we are free.
Thank you for letting me hear the animals today.
Thank you for letting me hear them pray.
It is all about attitude.
All you want is faith and gratitude.
